"We have the most talented high school basketball players in the
country , right here in the DC metro area". That was my belief
years ago as a 6'2" guard at High Point H.S. , and that remains my
opinion
today. I have learned a great deal about the game playing against such players
as Rudy Gay (Memphis Grizzlies) and Jeff Green (Oklahoma Thunder) but
the most valuable assets that I have acquired are from former coaches.
For many basketball will come and go , the benefits of using basketball
to your advantage will last a lifetime.

shortage of exposure for our girls , but a
new chapter has begun in the nation's
capital.

"Capitol Hoops where we eat , sleep and breathe basketball".
As much as I love promoting student athletes , I would much rather
see them succeed in the classroom. "Books before hoops" , I will
never forgot the inspiring statement from the NBA Great and former coach
of mine Adrian Dantley (Detroit Pistons). In the last couple of years
the DC area has had numerous players in the Top 5 of the NBA Draft and
for me it is my pleasure to cover kids of such talent. Where there is a
